My Students

Hello all. I am a kindergarten teacher in a high poverty area in northern California. My school is rich with diversity and culture. We are in need of many supplies, but today my classroom and I are asking for a new language arts curriculum. Our curriculum is outdated with no hopes of getting a new one.

Our school does not have extra money to spend on extra supplies for the classroom.

I usually end up paying for most of the extra supplies in my classroom. I cannot afford this item and all the other supplies, so I am asking for your kind help. We do not have a PTA fund with extra money and in California there are severe budget restraints in our schools. We need supplies desperately for this year. This new kindergarten curriculum will bring us up to date and purchase new learning supplies and books. Our school is bankrupt. The school I work is is an extreme poverty school, so there is not a penny to buy a new curriculum. This new curriculum will enrich students learning for years to come.

My Project

The resource I need is simple. I need a new kindergarten curriculum kit. I cannot afford to buy such an object for my room, nor can my school. This new curriculum, which was going to be bought by the school district before they almost went bankrupt, will replace the outdated kindergarten curriculum (seriously from the 90's) and be an essential part of the students' year. Help me help my kindergarteners become better readers learning phonics at different learning centers with new books and a new learning curriculum. Thank you so much for giving your time or donation. We need altruistic people like you in our schools

Thank you again for helping me help my students.

This new curriculum set will be such an important part of the new year. I will use this kit for a long time. Think you will be helping hundreds of kids (in a high poverty school) get the education they deserve. This Curriculum kit will give our kindergarteners the new books, supplies, and all the essentials to help them learn to read for this school year. Thank you from our little reading hearts!!
