This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a Grade 6 teacher and service approximately 75 students in language arts and social studies. My students love highlighting text evidence as well as drawing illustrations that make curriculum come alive. These pens, colored pencils and highlighters are expensive, so supplying them can bring joy to all.

My project will give my students resources they need and art supplies that will motivate them to produce their best work.

One-hundred percent of the items I requested will be for student use.

I love watching my students come alive when they are permitted to create, and plan on using these tools as motivation.
