Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is my first year teaching in this school district and my students are smart, loving children. They are so eager to learn and grow their minds.

The majority of my students are dual language and are learning English on top of their home language.

I want to help them grow as much as possible and make sure that our classroom has all of the materials needed to make that happen. I want to be able to provide them with as much exposure to print as possible in order to turn them into avid readers! Thank you so much for your support towards our classroom!

My Project

All of these materials will help my students express themselves.

The journals will allow my students to work on their progression of writing as they have a space to draw which is the first step to start writing in Kindergarten.

I am also excited to be able to have multicultural crayons and markers in the classroom so that all of my students can accurately represent themselves in their drawings!

I believe these tools will allow my students to grow in leaps and bounds!
