My Project
Our classroom focuses on literacy and language development and discovery through a play-based approach. The sturdy food and weather bingo games will support vocabulary as the children play with a teacher during small group instruction. We will place the jumbo letters in the literacy center for the children to practice letter recognition. The weather books will also be added to the library for our upcoming weather theme.
Providing opportunities for exploration and discovery is a large part of our day.
The children will be able to create driving routes in the block center with the street puzzle builders and observe animal tracks with play dough in the science center. These materials will be rotated to gain student interest and let the children choose what and how they will incorporate materials into their play.
