My students need a large laminator so my students can access graphic organizers and posters all year round without having to worry about them being destroyed.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come to school every day excited to learn! My school is a Title I school with 92.9% of students coming from low-income families. There is a high percentage of Latinos at my school. I teach students who are learning English as a second language.
My students may come from low-income homes, but they are motivated to do well in school, and they enjoy learning!
I teach 3rd through 8th grade Special Education. My students have various disabilities including intellectual disabilities, autism, emotional disturbance, ADHD, other health impairment, and learning disabilities.
My Project
Many of my students learn visually. They benefit from graphic organizers and visuals. I'm constantly having to make graphic organizer posters for them, as well as expose them to posters.
My students need visuals to help support their learning!
My students constantly access graphic organizers I've made, which makes it hard to keep them clean and intact. My students and I need a large laminator, so I can laminate large posters and graphic organizers. This will allow my students to access them whenever they want, without having to worry about them ripping or getting dirty. I will also be able to use them for years to come without having to make new ones each year.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
