This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My ESL classroom is a busy place with a lot of learning and busy little bodies at work! I work mostly with kindergartners but also service some new arrivals from migrant families in the upper grades. They are eager to learn English and learn mostly through the use of eye-catching visuals in small groups. I was fortunate enough to have a donor contribute a color-printer but now need to make these beautiful visuals durable.
A laminator and laminating sheets will help make durable visuals for years to come.
It will also let me preserve students work for display and for families to keep as reminders of their early years of their education.
