Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are talented, unique, and kind. They are bilingual students in a self-contained classroom of four- and five-year-olds who are eager to achieve success through learning. It is my responsibility as their teacher to provide them with a positive, academic environment and meaningful, rich educational experiences so that they can reach their full potential.

Laminating pouches are an essential tool in our classroom.

Hands-on activities are especially crucial in early childhood. My students engage in different hands-on activities weekly to gain the targeted learning. The laminating pouches protect the printed materials used for center time and independent practice during lessons. Having the materials laminated will make it easier for my young students to manipulate the interactive learning activities, and it keeps the materials protected so they can be reused as needed.

The Scotch thermal laminating pouches will enhance my students’ literacy skills by protecting their letters for name puzzles, their name cards (used interactively every day throughout the whole year), rhyming cards, alliteration cards, alphabet cards, and more, to master these skills. The laminating pouches will similarly enhance math, language, science, and social studies subjects.

We are truly thankful for your support of this project. Your generosity is helping my students reach their academic goals and thrive in their overall development.
