In my inclusion classroom we have a lot of students who rely on visuals to get through their day. We print materials but find when they are not laminated they do not last long and have to be reprinted, which wastes paper and ink.
My students are a mix of special education and general education students in a Kindergarten setting.
Some of my students are Autistic, Learning Disabled or have a Speech Delay. We also have ESL students mixed in. Our school is located in Brooklyn, NY.
My Project
A laminator and laminating paper will help us preserve the materials we make for our students and allow us to reuse them throughout the year. Laminated worksheets can be reused by using dry erase markers and wiping it off. This also saves paper and ink which becomes costly to replace throughout the year.
Your donation helps our classroom become more effective and keeps us focused on teaching and learning.
Not having to reprint materials saves us time and money. My students will also benefit by having an ample amount of visuals to help keep them focused on learning.
