My Project
As a self-contained teacher, I teach a modified curriculum for students with intellectual disabilities. In our special education classroom, durable and reusable visual supports, individualized learning materials, and communication aids are critical to student success.
Laminating these resources ensures they last longer, can be easily sanitized, and are accessible to all learners, especially those who benefit from hands-on, tactile learning.
We also laminate our task cards, task box items, etc. Students utilize these to enhance their vocation and life skills. We laminate the materials to ensure they can be sanitized and reused by students for many years to come.
