My Project
What I love most about my students is their curiosity, resilience, and enthusiasm for learning in creative, hands-on ways. They thrive when learning is made visual, structured, and interactive. Many of my students are visual learners, and some benefit from repeated exposure to routines and concepts. For others, especially those with learning differences, clear visuals and consistent visual cues are essential for success.
The resources I’m requesting—laminating film and a paper cutter—may seem simple, but they are powerful tools in helping students have access to create durable, reusable visual aids and instructional materials.
With these tools, students will have:
Visual schedules that help them navigate the school day with confidence
Step-by-step instructions for classroom routines or academic tasks
Flashcards, math manipulatives, and center materials that can be sanitized and reused
Behavior supports and choice boards that empower students to communicate and self-regulate
Laminating these materials ensures they last all year (and beyond), while a paper cutter allows me to prepare them efficiently and safely. These resources will directly support student independence, engagement, and differentiated instruction in a way that’s accessible for all learners.
