Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have a math curriculum this year that requires 'centers', or games, that students play off and on all year. Rather than making copies each time, my goal is to laminate and prepare these games in work tubs that we can access all year. However, our school's budget is tapped out, and we are pinching pennies to ensure basic resources (like copy paper!) are provided.
This roll of laminate and box of copy paper will enable me to create math games and literacy word work stations that students can use over and over all year.
The kids can grab a word bin and play the game with their partner, and put it away for the next use.
