This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school serves a middle to low-income neighborhood in New York. I work with special education students in a self-contained or general education classroom who come from many diverse backgrounds. My students are lively, talkative, and eager to do well in school. My students put first things first, and recognize the importance of a good education to help them succeed in life. I want them to have every opportunity to excel in the classroom so that they can reach their full potential. With the right materials, there is nothing they can't accomplish!
My Project
Throughout the school year students work extremely hard on a variety of projects that are easily damaged. With the use of a Fellowes Thermal Laminator and laminating sheets they will be able to protect their work, work they are proud of.
A laminator is an economical and eco-friendly way to provide reusable materials!
With the ability to laminate various materials we can reduce the amount of paper that is being used on a daily basis. Laminated papers can be written on with dry erase markers and reused time and time again. This will also help reduce the amount of money spent on paper and resources throughout the year!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
