My students need a laminator and film for our class projects.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Collins's classroom raised $197
This project is fully funded
I teach in an urban high school. Unfortunately, our school does not have a lot of current, working equipment, nor a budget to purchase these supplies.
My students love to do projects and work together. I enjoy watching them work and putting ideas together. Several times, during a project, I can see the students have their "Aha!" moments, as they finally make the connections and understand the material.
Sometimes, when I hang their work in the hall, several of them get defaced or torn by students walking by.
With a laminator, we can easily reuse several items. The laminator will also cut down on making extra copies, as I will have laminated, protected copies as a class set. I would be able to laminate some of the lab activity papers, instead of making individual copies, having one at each station. We could add more projects to the lesson plans, as I would have a way to reuse items like flashcards, diagrams, and poster projects.
I would also be able to laminate posters for the classroom which would make them last longer. I would love to laminate great projects and posters to use as examples for other classes in years to come.
With your donation, you will be enhancing my science classes! My students will have the opportunity to do more projects, and waste less paper. Thank you for your help and support of science education in public schools! You are making a difference in my students' lives!
