My Project

We are requesting hot glue sticks, hot glue guns, and popsicle sticks. Social Studies is about much more than text books and dates.

These materials will help us bring STEAM projects into the Social Studies classroom.

We will be building sarcophaguses for the hot dogs (pharaohs) we will be mummifying when we study ancient Egypt, aqueducts to help understand the challenges the ancient Romans had while getting fresh water to their cities, and castles so students may demonstrate their knowledge of medieval construction.

Being able to build items and create projects help students learn about the ancient world in a hands-on manner.
