it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hello all I am a kindergarten teacher in a high poverty area in northern California. My school is rich with diversity and culture. We are in need of many supplies, but science is one need that is very great in our school. We want to learn about lady bugs all the insects (well maybe) in between.
Our school does not have extra money hardly if ever to spend on extra supplies for the classroom.
I usually end up paying for most of the extra supplies in my classroom. The obstacle is simple or not so simple at our school. We do not have a PTA fund with extra money and in California there is a severe budget cut to our schools. We need supplies desperately for this year and the next. These science text books and games etc will enrich students lives for years to come. They will get to see photos of habitats and animals and read new fabulous science books!! I know these readers and the hands games of science (on lady bugs and insects) will be very beneficial to my class now and for years to come.
My Project
The resources are simple. They are fabulous beautiful science books on lady bugs, insects and games that will enrich their hands on learning projects and supplement their learning of animals, life cycles and different animals.My students will learn for years to come actually having hands on materials to learn.
