Help me give my students backstops for our field so that we do not lose so many lacrosse balls to the parking lot/street.

My Students
Our middle school students first started playing lacrosse in the spring of 2016. The first two organized seasons were in 2017 and 2018, but they were only exclusive to 7th and 8th graders. In the spring of 2019, I founded and organized the first boys lacrosse team at our high school. In doing this I met some of the most incredible students who excel both on the lacrosse field and in the classroom. I am so proud of what they accomplished and am excited for what they will do in the upcoming spring season!
The greatest part of coaching has been witnessing my players develop lifelong friendships; seeing the bond between them and knowing that I played a role in cultivating that is the greatest satisfaction coaching has to offer.
My Project
Kenwood lacrosse spends $500+ a year on lacrosse balls. The per ball cost is roughly $1.50 and we usually loose the majority of them by the end of the year. This can be explained by the fences that surround our field; they are not wide enough to stop the ball from passing between the posts and balls sometimes slip by into busy Chicago streets. After every single practice, I walk up and down Lake Park Avenue to find balls that went through the fence, but we still inevitably lose some.
