My Project
AP Chemistry introduces students to the topics and skills that are the foundation of college-level chemistry classes. Not only do AP Chemistry students grapple with theoretical concepts, but they also spend a considerable amount of instructional time applying theory in a lab-based environment.
Labs enable students to plan, direct, and integrate a range of science practices, such as designing experiments, collecting data, and applying quantitative skills.
But, due to the limited school funds, we are out of chemicals which are essential to the labs. Funding for this project will help students not only develop science practices (including model analysis, models and representation, and representing data and phenomena), but also be prepared for AP Chemistry Exam.
