My Students
My students are amazing! They try hard and always want to reach their full potential. However, the resources in our school can be scarce. Many of my students are far below grade level and need added support and resources in order to reach grade level standards.
My classroom is diverse.
As an ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) class, we have students of varying ability levels who require diverse instruction and varied materials to meet their individual needs. Teachers are given a very limited amount of money to purchase materials for the classroom. Unfortunately, this doesn't come close to covering what our classroom really needs.
My Project
My classroom recently received a Cricut machine. It has made such an impact in the room and the school. Now, we need more supplies. My classroom has many English Language Learners, labeling is an important way for them to learn new vocabulary in the classroom. We need more vinyl to continue labeling items in the classroom. I am also requesting card stock to print pictures for new vocabulary as well as projects in the classroom, and a laminating machine and pouches to laminate and preserve everything that is printed. This new technology is such a great resources that has also made the room much more inviting for my students. Now we just need accessory refills to keep going.
