My Students

Restock our classroom lab supplies! My students are eager and excited to do lab projects and assignments but we don't have all the practical resources we need to get going!

We are a suburban school in Kentucky.

We have a diverse student population of around 2300 students in a school with a capacity to hold only 1800 students! With students overflowing the building, there is high excitement and energy for science projects! Students love to do hands-on activities and get up out of their chairs. More hands on activities inspires more meaningful learning and experiences that can't be rendered from textbook or teacher lecture. Having lab activities makes it easier to reach the multiple intelligences of all students.

My Project

I am requesting graduated cylinders and thermometers for my biology classroom. We do not have all the basic lab supplies we need. I have many labs lined up for my students on enzymes, DNA transfer, macromolecules, genetics and more and having these items will help facilitate our lab experiences. Students will be able to inquire, hypothesize and develop experiments to satisfy their curiosity; the best traits for budding scientists!

My project is very important because lab activities are central to learning science!

Please support our project because this is not for disposable equipment. It will supply students with needed equipment for the next ten years or longer!
