This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The lab materials, such as microscope slide sets, capillary tubes, blood typing kits, Erlenmeyer flasks, graduated cylinders, sodium alginate, calcium chloride, syringes, clamp light, and grow light bulbs, will provide hands-on learning experiences that help students grasp complex scientific concepts through real-world applications. Craft items like Play-Doh, glue, and construction paper will foster creativity and reinforce learning through interactive projects. Additionally, the whiteboard and reusable dry-erase markers will keep students engaged and allow for dynamic teaching, while the gloves, hand sanitizer, dish soap, hand soap, and disinfectant wipes ensure a safe and clean environment, crucial for maintaining focus and health during lab activities.
My primary goals are to enhance students' understanding of scientific principles through hands-on experiments, encourage creativity and critical thinking through interactive projects, and ensure a safe and engaging classroom environment.
By providing the necessary supplies, I aim to create a learning space where students can explore, experiment, and express their ideas while staying safe and healthy.
My students are special because of their enthusiasm for learning and their curiosity about the world around them. They are eager to engage in hands-on activities and thrive in an environment that allows them to explore and experiment. Despite any challenges they may face, they are resilient, creative, and always ready to take on new challenges, making them a joy to teach and support.
