Help me give my students notebooks, so they can document observations made in class and in the world around them.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Chester's classroom raised $258

My Project
Our school is in the heart of downtown Kansas City, the urban core, and our students come from racial and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds. These composition notebooks will be used as lab notebooks in our science class. They will be a place for students to write observations about the world around them, as well as explore ideas they develop based on experiments and real-world learning opportunities.
These notebooks will become an incubator for student thought, as students write observations and collaborate with their peers as they share ideas.
Uses for the notebook will range from writing observations about what students see out of the classroom window, to writing and graphing data points about the weather or air quality in their own town.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
