My students need science lab materials such as a Human Body Activity Tub and a Matter Activity Tub in order to explore hypothesis in science. They learn and retain more when the experiences are real!
Sitting, listening, and taking notes in science class, while that may have been a typical day in the classroom years ago, student engagement has been proven to provide higher quality learning experiences for kids today. My students will respond with high energy and desire for learning with tools!
The children in my area are kids who have outdoor lifestyles.
They hunt, fish, and explore outdoors with their families. They gain greater knowledge whenever I prepare lessons they can relate their own life experiences to. They get so engaged with lessons like the ones these Human Body Activity Tub and a Matter Activity Tub kits will provide.
My Project
I have seen children from fishing and shrimping families add, with extensive knowledge, to science lessons in my classroom. These families work hard, and would appreciate their real world knowledge being enhanced within their child's schooling. I cannot wait to get started adding these a Human Body Activity Tub and a Matter Activity Tub materials into our science labs!
