Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students share an interest in literacy. The majority of my students seek books and love participating in read-aloud activities. I would like to enhance their love for literature and add felt visuals and storytelling kits to their favorite stories. I am also asking for an Apple Pencil so they can practice tracing on their iPads.
My goal is to make story time more interactive to keep my students engaged.
Having storytelling props for my students will make a difference in their learning because visuals and tangibles never fail to help my students grasp the concept. I plan to use the plastic envelopes to store storytelling resources.
My students are very special because every day they walk into the class ready to learn.
