Komfortable Kindergarten 2024

Help me give my students more hands on learning activities that feel like "games". I'm still really trying to have a room that is full of flexible seating options, so I've added a new option!

My Project

I am so excited to create a second Donors Choose project! I have flexible seating options listed, as I have a handful of students who could really benefit from non-traditional seating. There are things on the list to make the classroom more comfortable for us, and things to feel a little less intimidating. For this kindergarten age, I've found that the more things feel like "games", the more engaged the students are- they don't even realize that they are learning/retaining new information! Again, this age is still very young so we do a lot of drawing and illustrations. I wish we got to pick our school supply list because I would have requested these special composition books that are half written response, and half illustration space. I want my classroom to be one that these children leave with a STRONG foundation of skills for reading, writing, and math.
