My students are from a neighborhood that is less fortunate and limits access to necessary materials to be successful. The majority of the students come from families that are doing their best but still require some extra supports from outside organizations. These items selected will help my inner-city elementary students have exposure to technology and the academic benefits available for my students that have a mild cognitive impairment. Some students have fine-motor deficits which limits the way academics can be taught. With these tablets, assignments can be implemented using technology.
