Help me give my students a great start to the new year! I have supplied these basic necessities for my students for years, and these basic supplies are a must for keeping students organized and being responsible.

My Project

When students have the tools they need, they’re more likely to feel prepared, engaged, and motivated to learn. For example: Binders can be a game-changer for student organization! Here’s how they help keep everything in check: Binders provide one spot to keep everything—notes, handouts, assignments—so nothing gets lost! We use the binders for math every single day, and having them with dividers that I provide, students can separate the topics, making it easy to flip to what they need quickly without digging or things getting lost or misplaced.

Not all students can afford basic supplies like the colored pencils, binders, or scissors.

Donations help level the playing field so every student can participate fully. My goal is if students have the tools they need such as a binder, then maintaining a binder requires regular upkeep, which builds habits like tidying, able checking for missing work and encourages responsibility.

What makes my students special is that no matter what challenges they face—at school or at home—my students show up and try. Their strength is inspiring. Watching them grow—not just academically, but emotionally and socially—is one of the best parts of teaching. Every small win is a big deal. I try as their teacher to give my students the very best chance for success, and having donations such as these helps in more ways than I can say. I appreciate any and all help that I can get so that my students can feel successful and ready.
