My Project
Our project aims to fund baseball and softball equipment for our students to enjoy the sport and improve their mental, emotional and physical well-being. Many times equipment needs and the lack of funding prevents our students from opportunities to play traditional sports. With the funding of this project we will be able to receive the appropriate equipment to introduce baseball and softball to our students while reinforcing ways to handle trauma of everyday life and the stressors our students may encounter. The safety and security of being a part of a team can help tremendously with student athletes mental and emotional health. All of the items (baseballs, catcher's set, and bats) being requested will benefit the students at CHS directly and provide a positive opportunity for participation in baseball and softball. Please help to make America's Favorite Pastime a present-day reality in the lives of our students.
