My Students
My students are multi cultural and are different in so many ways but then yet again so similar. I am the Special Education resource room teacher who assists special needs students on their difficulty accessing the least restrictive environment (general education classroom).
At times, they just require a listening ear, compassion and other times they need to sharpen their skills to compete with their peers.
My classroom was a safe place to "let their hair down" and shoot for the stars but unfortunately, our school has closed due to COVID - 19, therefore, today remote learning is the NEW way we learn.
My Project
This school year is fast approaching and it is still so uncertain. I know 100% that I will need MORE tissues than ever before. With COVID-19, cleanliness is front and center so I need to ensure the health of my students. Every year I run out of tissues so this year I want to get ahead of the game. It is very important that children realize how imperative it is to stay healthy and be clean throughout the school day. Kleenex tissues will help protect my students from the germs they encounter every day!
