This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My absolutely amazing K-2 students on the Autism Spectrum attend a Title 1 school. They come to school every day eager to learn. Many of them struggle with sensory issues, low frustration tolerance, and limited communication skills. These are skills that they are working on, but they currently need additional help in these areas.
I am requesting laminator sheets and a new laminator, as our current one is no longer functioning properly.
Laminating is vital for our class's success. We laminate everything from visual schedules to communication books to matching activities, and everything in between.
We are also requesting baby wipes to clean up after activities and for diaper changes. We are also requesting Kleenex tissues for the runny noses that come with being a young, active child.
