My Project
Kits of Kindness aims to empower students by meeting this basic but powerful need, helping them feel seen, supported, and ready to learn. In middle school, hygiene is about more than cleanliness—it’s about confidence. When students feel clean and smell good, they’re more likely to engage, attend, and thrive without fear of embarrassment.
Kits of Kindness is a class-led community service project where students support their peers facing housing insecurity by providing essential hygiene kits.
Together, we’re promoting dignity, wellness, and belonging. Our goal with this community service project is to provide these kits with care, making sure every student has the tools they need to feel good in their own skin—because when you feel good, you do better.
