Kite Day for Pre-K

Help me give my students our very own mental health "field day": a day of fun fine motor and gross motor activities, with kite designing, building, and flying!

My Project

My students are kind, caring, and hard-working. They have learned and grown so much during this school year. They deserve a mental health day on which we will relax and have some fun! Unfortunately, in the past, PreK has been excluded from Field Day. It is my hope that I can give my little loves the chance to enjoy some outdoor activities this year.

On kite day, we will engage in physical activity and complete activities that help calm our brains, such as coloring and bubbles.

If this project is funded in time, students will color and build kites. Afterwards, we will put our gross motor skills to use as we run around the field through the bubbles to fly our kites. Finally, we will relax and enjoy some yummy snacks as we listen to a story.
