My Project

Good kitchen tools and equipment are crucial in cooking as they significantly influence the cooking process and the outcome of the dishes. Having the correct equipment and tools makes cooking more efficient, safe and gives students the opportunity to practice using the tools that are essential to basic cooking techniques.

Fundamental cooking and essential baking tools enhance safety, prevent accidents, and prepare students for real kitchen challenges.

Safety is always the highest concern in an educational learning environment. By providing a portable, locking storage container for knives and other potentially hazardous items, our students will have a safer working space.

The stock pots, cooking sheets and baking pans will provide students with a hands-on learning experience. Students are required to prepare food in a relatively short period of time making the sharing of equipment impractical. Having the necessary equipment will improve the baking and cooking process, improve efficiency and also contributes to better results in terms of taste, texture, and presentation of the food that they prepare.

An ice machine will be invaluable in supporting food preparation, cooling and chilling ingredients, as well as teaching students about proper food safety practices.

With these resources students can more fully immerse themselves in the learning process as they build confidence, develop time management skills, gain practical experience, and learn valuable teamworking skills.
