Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In Drawing and Painting, both Beginning and Advanced classes, we have are in desperate need of consumable materials that students can use to develop their creativity and skill.
Our student artists need a "Visual Journal" or sketchpad, kraft paper for practicing their gesture studies, newsprint for practicing their continuous line techniques, charcoal paper for high-contrast portraits, blending stumps for shading, workable fixative so their charcoal drawings won't smudge.
Please help us with the whole kit and caboodle, as we prepare to begin the new school year with the materials required for their success.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
