My Project
I am seeking funding for our school Kindness Club to create and maintain Kindness Journals for our club members. The purpose of these journals is to encourage students to reflect on their daily acts of kindness and to promote a culture of empathy and compassion within our school.
By recording their acts of kindness, students will develop a greater awareness of the positive impact they can have on others, fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
The funding will cover the cost of journals, and other supplies such as stickers and pens to motivate students to want to journal and learn about the importance of kindness and empathy. These journals will provide students with tools and strategies to incorporate kindness into their daily lives, both in and out of school.
The positive impact of this initiative will be far-reaching. Students who actively engage in reflecting on their acts of kindness are more likely to develop strong social-emotional skills, increased self-esteem, and a sense of belonging. Furthermore, a school environment that prioritizes kindness will lead to improved student relationships, reduced bullying, and a more positive and respectful atmosphere.
