My Project
My classroom goal is to provide my students with some of the tools to become more aware of exactly how much they can impact others through KINDNESS! These resources include social-emotional learning books like "YOU GOT THIS!" which can help increase self-confidence!
Another resource I am excited to share with my students is the activity of making kindness rocks!
This activity has impacted another school, and I would like my students to be part of this positive, empowering kindness adventure! If we build classroom community early on in the year, we can make a difference!
Another resource is the Kindness Journals, which are part of my request. These journals provide questions to answer and space for drawing. Several of my students love to draw and use this as a tool for reflection.
To build this positive school/home community, I would like to increase the communication with parents and important people in my students' lives by having a mail center where the students can put their daily "homework and behavior" take-home folders and Weekly Wednesday Important information folders so they don't loose or forget their communication tools!
