My Project
We started a kindness campaign at the beginning of the school year. The students love discussing ways they can be kind to others. They have made cards for each other and made cards for all staff in our school. They are getting ready to go to an assisted-living home and make crafts with the residents.
The items listed, including acrylic snaps, shrink film, and Wikki Stix, will be used to make cards or other crafts, including bracelets, flowers, and keychains.
Doing these acts of kindness has helped them learn how to spread kindness amongst each other and their community. They get excited about learning and providing opportunities to be kind to others. My students are blind and visually impaired. They often feel like they stand out because of their disability but now it’s for showing kindness.
