My Project
I have an adoreable bunch of kids in my class this year. They are kind, caring and nice to each other. These kindness counts shirts will help with team building and will lend toward a sense of commaraderie needed in the community of Libery City where school is located.
My students love coming to school, and they love learning!
I am very proud of their academic and social-emotional growth. I would love for my children to spread kindness and joy around our classroom. Wearing these shirt once a week will remind them to be nice to each other and when they see a classmate having a rough time, being bullied or not happy, to stick up for them and come to their rescue.
In addition, we will wear these t-shirts to remind ourselves we are a community while we do services learning activities to help our classmates and other classrooms in our school community. Examples picking up trash around the school, putting aluminium cans/ plastic bottles in recycling bins and reminding our families to do the same.
Most of my students can not afford to purchase these school kindness t-shirt as families are struggling to pay rent, electricity and put food on the table.
