Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an independent study teacher at a PBIS school, I am now educating a great group of enthusiastic fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade students over Zoom. My students are excited about learning and love to share their ideas.
This year, our district motto is "Cultivating Creative Kindness." I would love to give my students a "Be Kind" coloring tablecloth and markers to remind them to be kind to everyone.
The act of coloring is very relaxing and helps with mental health. It will be engaging and fun for the entire family and spread the district's motto into my students' homes. This project will also promote class discussions on kindness.
