My Project
Help me give the students at my school a kindness corner to grow and support their social-emotional learning. Several students on my campus lack social-emotional skills. We have various programs on our campus to support these students, but a kindness corner would help them grow their knowledge of the ever-changing world around them.
Our community is growing and more and more of my students are from diverse backgrounds.
I feel it is important to develop a kindness corner to help students learn about the differences we all have and build a community of inclusion and acceptance on our campus. Students from my school will then be able to speak out about what they have learned. Students will also be able to discuss the Kindness Corner and invite friends on campus to join them. They will be able to share books and ideas with their friends based on their new knowledge.
Students will be able to take the knowledge they learn in the kindness corner and throw it around like confetti!
