My Students

In our science classroom, we like to get our hands dirty.

The students in our classroom are ready to get their hands dirty and try stuff on their own.

The students are ready to take control of their education. They want the teachers to relinquish control and stop lecturing and rather let the students, themselves, discover information.

My Project

In order for students to become inquirers and take control of their own educations, they need some resources. The more resources our classroom can get, the more individual time each student can get with it. We are trying to build our classroom set of Kindles so each student can get more time with it. Our ultimate goal is to have 6 classroom Kindles for things such as research, producing stop motion videos, writing, and publishing, and the list goes on and on. My students need a Kindle Fire.

Having a Kindle library will help us get to our goal of giving each student more individual time on technology.

Students will be able to use the Kindle to enhance their understanding of topics. A classroom Kindle set would eventually be shared among their other subjects.
