Kindle Fires Help Students Close Education Gap in Math!

Help me give my students the technology we desperately need. Kindle Fires and headphones are needed to close the learning gap in reading and math!

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Ryan's classroom raised $502

My Students

My third-grade students are eager to learn. They are curious, creative, and have great imaginations even though we are a Title I school in a high poverty neighborhood.

School is a safe place and I do my best to make my classroom fun and exciting.

Most of my students live in public housing. Their neighborhoods are rough and school is a place for them to be safe. My class is mostly African American children who face a lot of challenges.

My job, as a teacher, is to help them overcome these challenges and become the amazing adults I know they can become.

My Project

There is a huge education gap that occurs for a lot of my students due to living in poverty. As their teacher it is my job to close this educational gap but I need your help.

My students need this technology to be able to thrive as learners.

I have access to many computer programs but without headphones I can not implement these wonderful programs. These Kindle Fires will be used to differentiate learning instruction for each student. I need to be able to meet them where they are and help them grow as learners.

My students are caring, wonderful kids who have the misfortune of not being born into wealth families. My daughter once asked me why everyone just didn't split all their money so no one would be poor so that all schools would have what they needed. If a child can recognize the socioeconomic gap then as adults we should try to do anything we can to help. Please help my students to reach their potential. We desperately need your help! Thank you so much!
