My students need Kindle Fire tablets to utilize technology throughout the day.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Gustave's classroom raised $780

My Students
We are a self-contained 6:1:1 classroom, located in a low-income, high poverty area. Regardless of their challenges, my students love to be engaged in learning. Their disability may limit them, but let's improve their learning.
Our classroom is a unique group with diverse backgrounds that learn from a various of modalities: tactile, kinesthetic, visual, and auditory.
My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.
They may not be "typical" but it doesn't mean that their learning experience should be limited. I want to give them rich meaningful learning experiences without any limitations.
My Project
Each student has their very own unique personality. However, one thing they love is technology. They love to use it to learn and play games with their peers.
The Kindle Fire tablets would be used in all areas in our classroom including instruction, assessment, and communication.
There are many ways, the Kindle can be integrated throughout the day. For instance, the students can work for the Kindle fire after they complete their workstations as well as working one to one with teachers. The non-verbal students can use the pictures to communicate using boards that can be uploaded into the Kindle Fire.
They can even use it to learn turn taking skills and socialization skills with their peers. They can play games that reflect mastered skills, such as number concepts, letters, and words.
More than half of students from low‑income households
