Help me give my students hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) kits and manipulatives that off engaging ways to learn, explore, foster creativity, and develop problem-solving skills.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergarten classroom is a busy place. For some students, it is the first time they have set foot in a classroom environment. As a kindergarten teacher, it is important to not only foster their creativity and problem-solving skills but also create a love for learning and a positive experience in the classroom. Hands-On STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities are the perfect way to achieve both of these goals.
Kindergarten loves to build and show others what their little minds can create!
Our classroom thrives when students are actively learning. These STEM resources will be used in pairs or small groups. They will be beneficial for the development of their ability to solve real-world problems and stretch their creativity, but equally as important: they are FUN! My Kinder”gators” will get to learn through play, which is the most developmentally appropriate way for 5 and 6 year old children to learn.
I do not want my Kinder”gators” to miss out on an exciting opportunity for hands-on learning and exploration. To be able to provide fun and engaging materials, I need your help!
