My Students

My wonderful kindergartners attend full day. They are working extra hard to get on grade level reading, writing, and math. There are so many resources, techniques, and strategies to teach them with. I would love more hands-on supplies and activities to help them achieve their goals!

My Project

Books and manipulatives are used daily in our busy classroom. As we navigate the “new normal” because of Covid 19, we are committed as a school and also as individual teachers to provide our students with the much-needed supplies and materials they need to help them be successful in our ever-changing world. In light of Covid 19, these materials would help me do just that…to provide a safe, fun, challenging learning environment that these Kindergartners so need in their lives. Many students have been affected by the lasting emotional/educational effects that Covid 19 caused. Providing a classroom stocked with supplies can help alleviate some of those negative effects.

Many of these children did not attend preschool before attending Kindergarten, so it’s imperative that we can give them a positive, abundant learning experience.

It’s amazing what quality materials can do for a classroom.
