Help me give my students laptops. My students will benefit from the use of laptops by being able to access computer programs mandated by the district and reinforce skills to help enable higher-level learning.
As a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district, I work with students in an ICT (integrated co-teaching) setting who are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking for a way children can extend their education in the classroom.
Education is the key to the future for tomorrow's leaders.
Learning is better when there are more materials to go around. My students come to school ready to learn, but they need the appropriate classroom resources in order to deepen their knowledge. My school has very limited resources due to budget cuts. Materials needed to effectively teach a lesson are scarce, and the requested items will help tremendously.
My Project
Having 4 laptops will allow me to continue to provide my students with access to digital resources and content that make learning more engaging and fun. I am asking for 4 laptops because my students work in centers and stations. They will rotate and use the laptops during center time.
Having proper technology in today's classroom, allows low-income students access to a world of resources they would otherwise be without.
The laptop will be an asset to the classroom. It will be used by all students and will definitely be utilized in all academic areas. My students need laptops to help support their learning.
