My Project
My school focuses on the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. for several weeks before his birthday each year. I would love for my students to receive their very own copy of Martin Luther King, Jr. from the Little People Big Dreams book series. This book will teach students about his childhood and how lessons learned in childhood shaped his life. The book covers major racial justice boycotts and protests including the Montgomery bus boycott. We will read this book together in class and then each child will be able to take a copy home. This book will lead to further conversations at home and will be a fantastic resource for students during the rest of their time in elementary school.
Your donation will enable my students to learn more about Martin Luther King, Jr.
