My Students
I teach a dynamic group of fabulous kindergarten students in an extremely diverse school in New York. My students love reading funny stories, poetry, creating art, and learning new facts.
My class absolutely loves our beloved puppet, Chef.
He cooks up sight words, poems, vocabulary words, and books each day in his "magic" pot. They also love our puppets, Little Red, Marvin the Math Monster, and Larry the Letter Lion! My students are funny, enthusiastic, inquisitive, compassionate, and sweet.
My Project
I am excited to be teaching remote kindergarten this year! My class is enthusiastic about virtual school! I want my students to remotely experience the joy of field trips and special visitors! I would love for my class to participate in a virtual field trip to Flamingo Gardens in Florida to learn about owls! My students will participate in their hour-long Animal Tails Wise Owls lesson consisting of a children's story about owls, lessons using PowerPoint and video, a craft, and an interactive animal encounter with an Eastern screech owl!
