My Project
Hello! My name is Jennifer Long and I am a Kindergarten Special Education Teacher. My students would benefit from the opportunity to grow and learn in an environment that adapts to their individual needs. Using hands-on materials for math, reading, and writing helps my students engage in learning. The items on this list can help them do so.
My students will use the dry-erase boards to practice math in small groups, as well as the magnetic ten-frame boards.
Most of my students have a difficult time sitting in their seats. The use of the chair bands will help them be able to focus on their independent work at their desks.
My students will use the mini mirrors to check their mouths while learning the letter sounds. The magnetic letters will help my students begin to spell simple three-letter words.
The printer and ink will do wonders when decorating my classroom with color vocabulary words to help my students expand their vocabulary.
The laminating sheets will help protect materials in the class from damage. The laminating sheets will help my students utilize worksheets while using a dry-erase marker.
The velcro dots will allow me to hang the colored and laminated vocabulary sheets on the classroom walls.
I plan on using the items that are listed on this donor's choose to enhance the learning experience for all of the students in my class. Thank you in advance for your consideration to donate to my students!
