This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have worked extremely hard this school year and deserve to be celebrated. It was a tough transition into kindergarten and we worked hard on our social and academic skills this year. The majority of my students have never been in a school environment before. My classroom is an inclusion setting which consists of english language learners, students with learning disabilities and traditional learners.

We want to celebrate the hard work and all they have accomplished in kindergarten.

Our students have shown tremendous growth and maturity since September, and they are more than ready to meet the challenges of first grade.

Kindergarten will having a Moving Up celebration with their teachers, classmates and families. Along with their certificate, my team and I would like to present our students with a beach bucket, bubbles, play dough and a beach ball. All of these gifts will ensure a fun summer sprinkled with special memories of kindergarten.
