My Project
Hello! My name is Taylor Nixon and I am a kindergarten teacher at our school. I am asking for your help with my kindergarten graduation project, which includes two sets of caps and gowns, graduate medals, and decorations. The project I am trying to fund is super important to my students, school, and families because of the significance a graduation has. Graduations are about ending a chapter in your life and awaiting the new beginnings it brings. My students are about to enter a journey of growth, learning, and success; and I am so excited for them.
My goal of this project is to have two class sets of graduation caps and gowns my current and future students can use to walk across the stage in style.
I remember feeling so proud of myself when wearing my cap and gown because it symbolized that I had accomplished something and did the hard thing! I want our students to feel the exact same thing on their graduation day. The kindergarten students we have this year are amazing little humans and I am so proud of their hard work. Anything you are able to provide is appreciated.
